Write your secrets in the sand, let them wash away,
Write your secrets in the sand, they will never stay,
Write your secrets in the sand, they’ll never reach the shore,
Write your secrets in the sand, they’ll bother you no more,
Write your secrets in the sand, let them leave your heart,
Write your secrets in the sand, give yourself a fresh start,
The sand will take and absorb them all, so you don’t have to feel the fall,
The oceans will wash and cleanse your soul, to make you feel new and whole.
So write your secrets in the sand and let them wash away,
For if they are to big for you, in the sand they will never stay.

I love living by the sea, hearing the winds rip through the under section of the pier that sits on the beach, hearing the waves crash against the stones and pebbles and gently be pulled back out into the oceans. If I go more inland I actually find I miss the sound of the seagulls, the noise that you block out after living with them your whole life but a noise you miss because its not there when you are away. I love the fresh sea breeze when it hits you on a bright summers day and watching the boats glide along the water before heading back to the harbour.
